    ProJackets Update

If I won I would pay to bring back the lower west stands, and pay to move students to lower east stands. Whether that was 10, 20, 50 million, whatever.

    New Toddcast - Adidas Edition

I thought our brand was pretty obvious: GT, where we make everything harder than it has to be. Classes, sports, recruiting, graduating, advertising, branding, you name it. We fight ourselves and make it harder. We're GT, we can do that.

Jonesing for some updates from practice

He's always been no-nonsense, but I felt like he was more smug in 14 and 16. He just seems a little more angsty this year.

Jonesing for some updates from practice

Usually, CPJ is a pretty good indicator of what kind of team we have. On the one hand he's been pretty grumpy, which is a bad sign. On the other hand this whole secretive, mysterious thing is completely new and I don't know what to make of it. Between MJ not practicing well and then getting...

Jonesing for some updates from practice

lol I think maybe WE will rue the day he decommitted. Can't blame him for wanting to go kick for a perennial national title contender.

    Is it really true?

I think result is that generally speaking either our offense just works and stomp the other team, or it just flat out doesn't because we are asleep or getting manhandled. There's usually not a whole lot of in between.

    Is it really true?

I don't think it's a hard and fast rule, just generally more applicable than a team's rush defense. My larger theory is that generally speaking CPJ is fighting only two things: ourselves and physical superiority. I think the vast majority of our struggles are self-inflicted. Guys just not...

    Is it really true?

I have thought for several years that most other teams and most of our fans have it backwards. Due to nature of our offense, another team's passing defense is a much better indicator of how they will fare against us. Traditional run stopping teams are what we are tailor made to exploit. But...

    Fall Camp Thread

I don't know. I felt like it was gonna be touch and go at best and that was before Mills was dismissed and before MJ was rusty then dinged up and not practicing. Hopefully they can review tape of today's scrimmage, set the depth chart, and just focus on improving whatever it is the coaches...

How much does GT spend in football (other programs included)

I'm not complaining about the prices, just saying that 50,000 people in the building at a lower price is better than 40,000 at a higher price. Also, not saying to lose seats, just rearrange them.

    Fall Camp Thread

With as painful as it is to watch these videos I wonder why PJ even does them sometimes. He obviously doesn't want to be there, the people asking questions aren't comfortable and rarely ask anything funny or remotely relevant or interesting. Just let PJ him offer whatever he wants to offer in...

How much does GT spend in football (other programs included)

This time 1,000. But for everyone who does give the 30% more, give THEM something. Better seats, free stuff, a behind the scenes in depth tour of every inch of BDS. Combined with a better game day experience, another huge piece is spending 1 on 1 time with the biggest and best donors. Show...

How much does GT spend in football (other programs included)

I think GT is its own worst enemy when it comes to this sort of thing. If Stansbury really, truly wants to get us up into the middle of the pack, there are GOBS of things that will have to happen. But I have a zillion ideas. First and foremost, gotta love the fans. GT does so many things that...

    QB battle

I don't know. You really only have maybe the next week to decide who you're taking to the dance. I would think it's hard not to pull for JJ. But you're trying to guess there exactly how coachable he is and how much can develop in the time available. But it sure seems like the sky is the limit...

    Official Ted Roof Discussion Thread

I guess my biggest frustration is I wish we could see where Roof was honing his craft as a DC. Obviously he is a tremendous recruiter. We have been the most successful under Roof when CPJ has said "be more aggressive". Instead of waiting for the one game mid-season where we get torched, I wish...

For This to be a Special Year

D-line 1a, linebackers 1b. The whole front 7 needs to be an improvement from last year. D-line need to see the return of Freeman and the emergence of Simmons. Then inside need guys to hold point of attack and cause some disruption. LBers the two areas I hope to see improvement are blitzing...

    Tennessee Game 1

Good question, I want to hear what he has to say as well. @Ibeeballin if you were DC for UT, how would you want to defend CPJ's offense?

Film Room Tax 17 Offense Slow Motions

I don't know how much freedom JT has to change plays - CPJ often calls a dive like this as sort of "check" play to see who is doing what on defense.
