The most disappointing stat from yesterday was...attendance.

For our FCS opponent, we have frequently been playing HBCU like Alcorn State and Jacksonville State which I think is intentional. It is typically not good for our team imo, barely working out our starters. However, there are a lot of HBCU graduates in Atlanta; it gives their players a big...

I still think we would've beat them, but I agree with your logic.

No, I'm with you. It's clearly the ABC curse. Any suggestion that the quality of the competition has been different when you've played on ABC would just be crazy talk.

I was rude hoping that rudeness would get a hearing that politeness did not. You recall that my earlier post expressed appreciation for you and agreement that better home games would draw better fans. The FACTS (for the third time) are that the SEC teams you mention aren't scheduling a lot of...

The most disappointing stat from yesterday was...attendance.

LOL I'm sorry, but I have to admit that I was still in grade school the last time I put my fingers in my ears saying, "Blah blah blah I'm not listening." I'm really surprised to encounter such a childish response on internet forum. OK, that was rude, and I apologize, but you really don't seem...

The most disappointing stat from yesterday was...attendance.

I appreciate you, and I agree that from a fan standpoint, getting the best competition into our stadium draws bigger crowds and adds to the excitement. However, your approach to the topic seems to be that (1) that's the only issue to be considered and (2) that scheduling whoever we want is just...

    GT (-3.5) at USF

It seems that you misunderstood this link. The link says that he'll take USF with the FG. In other words, give the line GT -3 (or as the link says, USF +3), he'll take USF.

While I appreciate the one-up-manship of your sarcasm, we don't really know the real story behind the stories. That the games originally scheduled for 2013/2014 were postponed to 2019/2020 only a few months after the 2009 season (2010) Orange Bowl may provide one reason. Another rumor is that...

The most disappointing stat from yesterday was...attendance.

Here is a story of the indefinite postponement of the Bama Home and Home originally scheduled for 2013/2014 and then 2019/2020. The reason was apparently the uncertainty of the football landscape and the possibility of an increased number of conference games. Bama cancelled a home and home...

If our first game had been against LSU of vpi, who knows how we would've looked. Too early to say anything definitive. I think vpi's O looks better than last year and their D hasn't fallen off much.

I could see BC being 8-0, 7-1 going into vpi game, and they play the week after vpi plays us. Interesting season

    GT (-3.5) at USF

I don't think anyone saw the Orange Bowl coming in 2014 after Wofford and GSouthern. It's too early to declare what our team will be 2018. I am confident that CPJ will give our O the best chance to be successful as CNW will our D.

Former GT coach Brian Jean-Mary is ...

It's not one or the other. They compliment each other. When their D can fly lbs and safeties to the outside, they can shut down our perimeter game for a loss. However, they can then get bit by a dive up the middle. When they commit to stopping the dive, they become vulnerable on the perimeter.

    GT (-3.5) at USF

I think just the opposite. With our aggressive D emphasizing penetrating gaps and swarming to the ball, it becomes more important to give our D more rest between series, imo. We want the clock and limited possessions to add to the pressure on opposition O.
