  1. Cutcliffe talks about GT Offense

I don't know. He always says Duke is a well coached team that does not beat itself. To me that is the highest praise you can give a coach.
  2. Well, this week's Sagarin is in...

I get the Duke game on regular over the air TV. Of course I live in Milwaukee.
  3. Denzel Perryman on GT O

I think he would be right about the prep work for a defense needing to be the same, ie covering all possible plays going back to Georgia Southern in the mid 80's, but I don't think the plays actually run are completely the same year to year.
  4. Film Room GT v Miami Series 2

If the MLB is flowing to the outside and is taking the QB or pitch or is just too quick to the outside in general a counter to that would be the zone dive to the B back.. The MLB is left unblocked as he will be voiding the area for his responsibilities. We saw that several time last week...
  5. How big a deal is the Scout Team?

Yes.:) Yes I do:):) Sorry if I came off a little *****ish.
  6. How big a deal is the Scout Team?

That's nothing but tripe. The QB position originally in a single wing system, which every one used until the late 1930's when University of Chicago and Stanford experimented with the T formation which before that it was called the standard formation, did nothing but block and run and lined up...
  7. Paul Johnson Disciples

The DC while CPJ was at Navy is still there. Coach Green. He is a very good XO's guy.
  8. Animated CPJ in Player's Faces...

The fault was Snoddy didn't keep proper pitch relationship. JT didn't dilly or dally on the decision to pitch on that play, on others he did, and Snoddy turned up to soon.
  9. I am still not sold on CPJ but.........

I think you might be forgetting Utah where he drove down the field with a couple minutes left giving us a chance at a 40 something yard field goal where our kicker missed.
  10. CPJ

Thanks for sharing. Sorry for the personal question. Sometimes I act without thinking first. Usually it just effects my speaking but sometime my posting as well... As far as your original post I agree. We're young and with the bad the team has shown there is also a pretty big upside if they...
  11. CPJ

When did you play for OSU?
  12. I love these Vines!

It's legal for a runner to put their hand on the face mask but they cannot grab it.
  13. JT>VL

Navy was running with a back up QB yesterday. Reynolds was out.
  14. Quick poll on the pulse of the fanbase....

I really screwed that up... I read the question wrong. For the record I have not lost faith in Coach Johnson. Subtract a yes and add a no.
  15. Film Study - Offense vs Tulane

He used that against FSU the last time we played them. I believe its good against teams the play man to man against us. Allen, when he was an A back, had some big runs on plays out of that motion.
  16. I Guess I Need a Lesson

Outside veer reads one man out of inside veer. The dive read was the outside linebacker on Saturday and those plays were outside veer. For inside veer the dive read would be the defensive end. There is also a midline triple option in which the dive read would be one man inside the inside...
  17. Depth Chart for Tulane game

Edited because it offered duplicated information.
  18. 2nd Half BB Runs

There are times when depending on what the defense is doing it is better to have a designed give with zone blocking. An example of it is in a 4-3 when the MLB is flying to the outside and is responsible for the pitch. That leaves the 4 defensive lineman verses 5 o-lineman with no linebacker...
  19. 2nd Half BB Runs

To me 13 looks like a designed give. The playside A back looks like he's trying to block the OLB and could not get in front of him.
  20. Smelter for Heisman

Yah your right I don't know how I forgot him.
