You are correct, complaining is not much of a tool. That's why I decided that I am not going to watch any more games this season... At least that way my entire fall won't be ruined by being in a foul mood the whole time.

Sorry, just because it has happened before will NEVER make this ok... The Furman loss was nearly 40 years ago, and we still talk about being a dark day in Tech football history. This loss is JUST AS BAD and will be infamous in the same way.

No argument there. Even if you are borderline on distance, though, if your kick is on-line, there is always a chance you get lucky and it creeps over the bar. The kick on Saturday never had a chance... He had missed that kick before it ever crossed the line of scrimmage...

I'm not certain how makeable I would call a 52 yard field goal by a true freshman kicker - which is his first ever collegiate field goal attempt by the way... That is a lot to ask... Army definitely did have some chances, though...

I am probably as skeptical as anyone on this board of someone with a "salesman" personality, but even I know that this team should get better and better as the team gets more comfortable with the concepts they are learning to employ. Two games is way too early to start panicking...
