    Duke @ GT

The lack any offensive identity is majority of the problem. Mentioning the issue of MGH plAying better with golden off the court ties into my point, when Golden is on the floor he is considered our main scoring threat, but here's the problem, golden is only good scoring in transition and he...

    Duke @ GT

I like BG As a person a lot, he's a good guy who brings positive influences to our SAs and represents our school well. Now with that being said, his Xs And Os as a coach is horrific, offensively we look the same as under blewitt just with less ISO plays because we don't really have a go to...

GT .vs. BC @ 5:00pm today

BC is a team full of talented Highschool scorers who don't care enough on the defensive end. If you watch their intensity / movement on offense and compare when they are on D it's night and day. Hanlan / rahon / Anderson all great offensive players but Slack on defense.

    Spring Position Battle - QB

As I have stated whAt feels like a million times, vad did not have lateral speed ( sideline to sideline) he did have great north / south speed, get him in a straight line and he's gone. But this offense requires a lot of lateral speed and shiftiness. Which is why vad was never fully comfortable...

    Bolden's Struggles

I think maybe part of our fitness issue is that BG actually subs too much, crazy as that sounds...let me explain... Since BG likes to go around 10 deep on our roster in most games he subs Guys like every 3-4mins. I think in his mind that is creating two things, -more rest for all the players...

    2014 Defense signee recaps

We picked up so many solid DE's in the last 2 clAsses I'm really interested to see who comes out on top, hard not to want to play them all but competition only makes things better. I'm projecteding a crazy battle for WDE with whitehead and Simmons

GT adding a good walk on

He's not the smoothest runner but when he gets the edge...Look out! He has incredibly deceptive speed. His straight line speed is awesome for his size.

GT adds a second walk on today

This guy is a sure tackler if anything. He might not have blazing speed but the guy gets to the point of attack and the play ends there. I like seeing safeties who are great in run support.

    Introduce yourself

Hey everyone, my name is Brandon. I'm 26 years old, got my bachelors from University of Texas at San Antonio (utsa) which just got a football program 3 years ago and is doing extremely well for a young program. Originally from Atlanta lived here most of my life, took a baseball scholarship to...

    Way too early starting lineups

Here's my "what I want to see" line up WR - Autry / smelter AB - Hill / days (based more on blocking) OT - griffin OG - Mason C - Burden (even though I think Marshall the freshmen is here sooner than later) OG - Devine OT - Braun ( i know he's a guard but putting the best 5 OL out there)...

    2014 Offense Signees Recap

Eric just off your gut feeling who do think makes the biggest impact on the team? I know it's kind of a guessing game just wanted your opinion after reviewing a lot of these guys. As in who gets on the field first? Who ends up being a starter the fastest? Things like that.

    2014 uniforms

Maybe it's just me but I loved the unis during the joe ham / godsey days. With the large block numbers and the right shade of gold, I do not like the mustard tone gold we seem to put out regularly...that is hideous to me.

    Looking Ahead- BB

I think also we passed more because we weren't getting a lot of positive plays on 1st down like we are accustomed to. There were a ton of TO plays on first down that got blown up due to poor reads or poor blocking, or vad being indecisive and falling down or trying to reverse field and falling...

    Recruiting Bias...247

Oh I know that was his real name, I put quotes because I wanted to emphasize the ridiculousness of the name.... "Tackle made by I-perfection Harris" modest much?

    Recruiting Bias...247

Ok I've been following gt atheltics for many years now and why do I not remember "I-perfection" Harris?? With such a ridiculous name I don't know how I don't remember him playing, I thought it was a joke seeing it at first but nope, he was on the roster when I checked. If we got someone like...

    CBG

BG does and says all the right things, which makes it hard not to like him. His weakness is offensive game planning, he needs to bring in a strong X's and O's offensive minded assistant. BG IMO struggles to design strong half court offensive sets, not as bad as blewitt (thank god) but still very...

    Recruiting Bias...247

Lol I don't even know why we are arguing about this topic, sometimes stars are relatable to performance on the field (all four key members of 07' were 4 star recruits) and sometimes it has no impact at all, for every two star no name there is a 5 star bust as well. There are a ton of 2 star...

    Recruiting Bias...247

Stars are 90% off of who is paying for subscriptions. The SEC fan base is most likely their highest % of members and if their team is recruiting someone or got a commitment then their "star rating" goes up and hence also increases the hits on their site. There are some kids who are legit blue...

    Sewak

I don't blame sewak for all of the o-lines faults. I used to think when I would watch our guys dive at the LOS and whiff and fall on the ground not touching Anyone how irritated I was that they were taught to block that way, but then I found out they were given the option to cut block or block...

How Many CFB Programs in History...

Maybe he is, looking at his film and size around 5'10 210 he seems more suitable for BB but maybe he will be a bigger AB like Ant was. He just seems like the best pure RB we've had out of HS since Dwyer, custis looked great too, but leggett seemed to be a bit faster.
