As I've discussed elsewhere, I calculate a Points/Drive vs Power5 opponents. I use cfbstats.com as the source of the data. I count all scrimmage offensive TD's as 7 pts. I ignore run-back TD's and any Safeties.
Typically, I only rank teams that have played at least 3 power-5 opponents, but...
I appreciate that point of view.
I'm in the camp that says TW didn't get the respect he earned.
Still, I don't think TM has played as well as TW. I also think TO 2018 has played better than Vad 2012.
To your question, it would depend on whether, and how much, they scored.
Watched the UNC vs UVA game. UNC had a lot of decent passes that were just really well defended, DBs causing the drops with well-timed hits.
I think we're going to need to play better D than we have.
Hopefully, we'll be "good GT" on O from here on.

As I suspect you know, Bud has a young D whom he prepared for the triple. When we hit them with QB sweep etc, they weren't ready.
To posts early in the thread: if you watch vid from @Longestday you'll see that vpi did blitz the backside LB on tail motion just like Duke. We just blocked it. You'll also see a good bit of cut blocking on plays where it's called for.
On the Triple option, we scoop (cut) the backside DL, iiuc. So, I think Foster lined up so that the DL who would be backside would be off the ball ready to defeat the block.
