Yeah, he looked terrible in first half, but in the second half PJ called a whole passing series and Marshall looked WAY better. Stepping into his throws and following through.
Still want to see him get his reads better.
Lol neither of them are even 5'10. However, JT5, and especially Joe Hamilton (who is barely 5'9 even in cleats) and plenty of other guys have proved you don't have to be over 6 feet to be a great passer.
It's technically against the rules at Miss State. However, they don't try very hard to enforce it because it's tradition for them.
I would be game for kazoos or vuvuzelas. Anything to get louder in BDS.
I will say, the loudest I've ever heard BDS was the 2009 game against VT. There weren't...
I think that's definitely a very fair bet. Dabo isn't one to run up the score, and we might score late to make it seem better than it is. 21 pt win is a nicely set over/under.
In terms of the game itself, I'll be surprised if we move ball at all except in random fits and starts. Maybe if this...
Definitely have to disagree with you here - I like CPJ. But I can admit he doesn't do much to help us with his fan and media relations. The entire Institute struggles with that anyway.
I think you also have to take college football into account when considering this. There was a significant style change and shift in offenses from the 2000's to the teens.
I do think we had more talent on defense, especially on D-line. But I bet if I can find some stats it will show that...
I think some of y'all just want to be butthurt. If anyone in the ACC had a clue they'd hope for a bye before Clemson. You know, the team that's actually been winning a lot of games lately.
But look at the schedule, basically they tried to put all of the bye weeks in the middle of the season...
2015 the injury bug decimated the entire team.
2016 was a pretty decent year by most folks metrics. BEAT UGA.
2017 the ball bounced against us in SEVERAL games - we make 3 plays and we have 3 more wins. Entirely different perspective on that year.
When were we ever consistently recruiting...
I do think some of the reason we've gone away from midline is that with JT and Taquon you have smaller, more nimble QBs and they operate in space better. Breaking tackles and running through arms just isn't their game, so it's silly to force that. Also, the angle is steeper so the midline read...
Lol 2011 was 7 years ago. They had Kevin Steele as their DC. Since then Clemson's recruiting has been absolutely insane. And they have Venables now and he plays the option with the tools he has available as well as anybody.
Their entire D line this year is slated to go in the first round of the...
lol except against Clemson (especially Clemson) and Ugag we have two problems - their DTs and DEs are so athletic that if we option one of them he can hit the BB, but if QB pulls it he will let go of BB and chase down the QB. OR, one of the other Dline we aren't optioning will beat his block and...
Except for the last one, I don't care what offense we run, we would have been killing the other team. The offensive line fires off the ball and drives LOS back 3 yards.
You might be right about us winning when we run midline. But I think it's inverted - we run midline because we are blocking...
