How do we get better at special teams? Is it just something we don't spend enough time on?

Seems like an ok hire. We desperately need special teams help though. Maybe between Woody and Wood and whomever the DL coach is they'll have a clue about special teams.

This amazes me. Out of over 100 athletically gifted guys we can't 1 who could semi-consistently kick the ball off a tee into the end zone? Heck I'd even try the Clemson route and hold open tryouts for ANY students.

I really think it would be worthwhile if they had someone at GT whose job description included posting this kind of information on the different GT boards - especially for football and basketball. Between the active posters and the lurkers, the information would travel through the fan base...

Not sure how good he is or not, but given the RBs he had along with a freshman QB, he'd have been crazy to run the offense any way other than how he did.

I would normally agree with this, but in all fairness two other teams had chances to knock out Alabama and Georgia and neither could get it done. Like it or not the two best teams in the country played each other last night.
