Fair question, I can't recall myself so I made the assumption. If he is not, I would expect Pendley to be the guy at LG. Granted, Franklin may push him as I see he enrolled early.
Like the signing.
Has all of the athletic ability/build you want with a prospect. Watching a couple of videos of him... his swing has raw pop too. Hopefully the defense shows up in the next couple of years. That will help him move through the system quickly.
I think it looks like this come Game 1 as far as the 2 deep is concerned:
LT, LG, C, RG, RT
Cochran, Defoor, MiniVan Johnson Williams
Quinny Pendley Viapulu Pendley Quinny
You can feel doubtful about it you want. Facts are, he was a three year starter going up against very good competition in the SEC and was projected to be a 2021 NFL draft pick. Certainly had all the offers you would hope to see a prospect have as a HS recruit. Only concern is his conditioning...
Its an interesting question for sure. I think if the NCAA solidifies a 1 time no penalty transfer rule then the recruiting sites might make an adjustment. As you stated though, their big revenue generators (normal top 10 teams) aren't brining in a whole lot of transfers, so would they allocate...
Ask yourself how things have changed on the college football landscape when it comes to players transferring to other teams. I don't think transfers should be weighted the same as incoming (HS) recruits and the time and effort it would take to update ratings and rankings for them would be...
With all do respect to James Graham’s athletic ability, what exactly did we lose from this team in him transferring?0 statistical production from last year. Arguably a run first back up quarterback? AB is a deep threat I wish we could have taken more advantage of this year, but his straight line...
I don’t disagree. I tend to favor teams built on good pitching, good defense and getting on base. However, if Bell/Schwaber go on streaks at the same time as having Soto in their lineup, that won’t be fun for anybody.
Nationals still looking up at Braves and Mets.
Lasorda was an icon. No reason you keep a guy around that long unless he was incredible person who had the ability to make people around him better.
Side note: look at that midtown skyline in the GT video.
Sure is a lot of smoke... hopefully these idiots are just trying to scrounge up some subscriptions. Hate that they would be teasing one of our best recruiter/coaches leaving.
I'm sure Key would have his reasons but the move would not come without us asking questions on his way out. Cant recruit to USC like you can to his alma mater.
