Will Woody’s GT defense stop Minnesota?

They have a really good receiver in Tyler Johnson, and they love to run quick passes/slants. Basically what we can't stop. I expect them to score, but us to score more.

Demaryius is a great player. Prayers up for him!!

    Alvarado’s Determination

I like Banks as a player, he has a pretty solid offensive game. His defense is VERY inconsistent. He makes some nice plays, but every single time he let the guy drive right past him down the baseline. That may not be on him, since there should've been some help defense, but still. Claxton kinda...

Fire CJP + State of the Program

Basketball is easier to rebuild than football in that you really only need one or two players to make a difference. There is so much talent in ATL that it is really hard to be as bad as we are right now. CJP needs to show some of that recruiting prowess, because there aren't any difference...

UGA Game Thread: Redemption Road ...

This ugag team is horrendous. It's embarrassing that we lost to these guys. There is way too much talent in GA for BOTH of those teams to be that bad, especially Tech. CJP needs to pick it up, or I want him gone.

Ugly Loss to UGA, How Many ACC wins this year

3-13...We'll beat Pitt once, Wake once, and shock somebody good right after being absolutely crushed by another good team.

    Avery Showell tweet, position change

If Avery is half as good as Calvin, I will be a happy camper. Love the confidence though, and I think the change will be good for him.

Resilient Taquon Marshall: CPJ’s last QB...

I met TaQuon at fan day 2017. He was the nicest guy, very outgoing and down to earth. I will admit, I wanted him benched at times. I will also admit that at times I was campaigning for him to be a Heisman candidate. He is probably one of the most polarizing GT players I've ever seen. But, I will...

    Jackets over FAMU

Yea, Shembari has been disappointing so far. Love what Alston has done though, he has stepped it up so far.

Who was the best DC in Coach Johnson’s tenure?

Oh absolutely, that ugag team was almost as miserable as ours was. A normal CPJ offense wins that game by 20+. I just thought it was hard to include the D of a 3-9 team, and I still have nightmares from the UNC game that year, but they were a decent unit.

    Assistants from Temple

Not sure who we add, but I hope to keep McCollum and Jerome Riase. CAM for his recruiting prowess and Riase forhis coaching- the DL was surprisingly pretty good this year.

Who was the best DC in Coach Johnson’s tenure?

Womack and Roof had their years. 08 for Wommack, 13 and 14 for Roof. Groh was terrible, Kelly was probably the best but was DC for only half of the season, and Woody wasn't awesome, but okay, and he was only here for one year.

    ACC Discussion

Watched the game. Panthers started off awful. Second half surge in last 10 minutes or so was led by Simonds, and a Benlevi 3 pointer gave us a victory. Amazing game. Now two wins against SEC teams, ugag and Bama.

Are we going to get some special unis for the game? Wasn't Adidas thinking about doing that?

    The All CPJ-GT Offense

Agree to disagree, although I will point out that Tevin was actually just short of 1K yards in 2011 with 987. They were both great players in their own rights.

    The All CPJ-GT Offense

To clarify, yes I love Tevin and he was very underrated. He was awesome at making reads, no doubt about it. But I can't ignore that Nesbitt essentially had 5 or 6 months to learn the option in 2008 before he went into game action, and he was pretty freaking good at it. Nesbitt also had multiple...

    UGA Blows Chat

Are you saying that their most meaningful games the last two years have been against 2017 GT and 2018 UNC? I know their schedule is weak, but they played multiple teams better than those two.
