Texans veteran wide receiver Demaryius Thomas suffered a devastating injury Sunday, rupturing his Achilles during a defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The five-time Pro Bowl selection couldn't put any weight on his leg and was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of a 32-30 loss. Thomas will miss the remainder of the season and will need to undergo surgery to repair the damage. He will be placed on injured reserve.

I was watching the game when Bebe went down. You knew it was bad, because he went down on his own- no contact, no apparent ankle roll or the like.

Very sad for him.
