  1. T Stan... your opinion on his job performance to date.

C+. I despise the fact that we’re not going to have the Notre Dame game on campus next season. I am not debiting him for the Collins here (though I admit my own skepticism), but I’m not crediting him, either. Men’s hoops is a train wreck, and though he didn’t hire the coach, he hasn’t done...
  2. What's the loudest you've ever heard Bobby Dodd Stadium?

It probably has to be a game after the expansion of the stadium in 2003. The Auburn game that season was pretty loud, as was the 2005 UGA game.
  3. Expectations?

I expect the record to be bad, something like 3-9, maybe a game better or worse. If you guaranteed me 6-6 right now I’d grab it with two hands and not let go. I’m more interested in how we play, though. I’ve long said that I can handle being beaten by better players. That happens. What I...
  4. GT picked last in Coastal

I think those are GPS/heart rate monitors. Everyone’s wearing them now. I went to Charlotte last weekend for an Arsenal soccer game and they were all wearing them, too.
  5. Offensive Line Transition

Generally better athletes pick things up more quickly. I think he’s a better athlete at his position. I’m more interested in how our guys will transition. My biggest concern on offense this year is our tackles. I think they’re going to get manhandled, and I don’t think we’re going to be...
  6. What players are you most excited to see in the Fall?

I am interested to see Antoneous Clayton (assuming his eligibility) simply because I want to see what a five star looks like in our uniform. I want to see the size compared to our other guys.
  7. GT picked last in Coastal

The last part of your comment is the key issue. Perhaps I’m wrong (and I hope I am) that the next couple of seasons are going to be bad. But if I’m right, the payoff for going through the pain needs to be more than 8-4.
  8. GT picked last in Coastal

It’s not unreasonable to think we’re going to finish last in the division. I fully expect this year to be bad and for next year to be worse (largely because of the schedule). The only team I might expect to have competition with for last place is Carolina.
  9. Shapiro needs to let it go

Ain’t no shame in getting your *** kicked by Clemson. If it’s good enough for Bama, it’s good enough for us.
  10. Shapiro needs to let it go

It’s easy to be cool with the media when you haven’t lost a game yet. We’ll see how he reacts (and how they react) when we take a bad loss.
  11. Collins - Expectations and time to get things right?

I agree with that, but my original point was that if the payoff is 8-10 wins, why would we agree to endure a tear down when we’re already there?
  12. Collins - Expectations and time to get things right?

Won nine games in 2016. Remind me of our end of year ranking, please.
  13. Collins - Expectations and time to get things right?

Wait, I just want to be sure I understand. We are going to accept a complete tear down and rebuild with the hope of getting to 8-10 wins? Simply not acceptable. If we are going to accept mediocre to poor results over the short term (which is fine, and about which I will not complain), the...
  14. Divisional inter play results since 2013

To suggest that losing to Duke four out of five times is a good reason for changing the offense without stating the record against the top two teams in the division strikes me as an odd conclusion.
  15. Did GT, dodge a bullet?

I’m not bothered by it at this point in the process. There are still two months left. Plus, if You committed to Bobby Petrino, forgive me, but they should have known the snake was a snake.
  16. Did GT, dodge a bullet?

I said current players, who would need a release.
  17. Did GT, dodge a bullet?

If Louisville gives a release to all current players, I don’t see the issue here.
  18. FEI Off/Def/SpT Rankings 2018

It’s so helpful and productive when people who don’t understand statistics decide to open their mouths.
  19. Where are we now?

No one gets unconditional support except family. I’m rooting for Collins (though I freely admit I’m not optimistic), but unconditional support doesn’t exist in a transactional relationship.
  20. Where are we now?

Johnson’s clock management was excellent. It’s a skill you only notice when it’s lacking.
