  1. Do we lose any coaches

He’s going to show them . . . exactly the same thing as everyone else is showing them, just in a half empty stadium. I’m sure it’ll go well!
  2. Do we lose any coaches

I agree with this, though I don’t mind the analytics stuff. He’s not a hype man, he’s the head f—-ing coach, and it’s about GD time he started acting like it.
  3. Do we lose any coaches

There’s not a shred of evidence for the latter and he’s being paid seven figures for the former.
  4. Do we lose any coaches

    Why?
  5. Georgia Tech vs. Duke Predictions #GTvsDUKE

    Dook 34, Jackets 14.
  6. Disappointment

Rough time to be a Jackets and Braves fan. Gonna go tie a plastic bag over my head.
  7. Georgia Tech @ Duke (-17.5)

Nooner this week and next against Miami. Maybe both will be asleep.
  8. Has fan apathy already set in?

I accept that the TV experience is really good now. And I don’t blame people who stay away in September when it’s hot as hell. But that wasn’t the case yesterday, and it wasn’t a nooner. I don’t know what the issue is anymore except that our fans simply don’t care, which would suggest apathy.
  9. Has fan apathy already set in?

Maybe. I guess I remember the east stands being well populated after I graduated in 2004. No one’s there anymore.
  10. Has fan apathy already set in?

They brought about half as many as they would for a hoops game.
  11. Has fan apathy already set in?

That may have been the paid attendance. The stadium was half empty. It’s to the point where the norm in the east stands, let alone the north deck and student section, are a bunch of people dressed up as empty seats.
  12. Has fan apathy already set in?

There were 35,000 people at the game yesterday. It hasn’t set it; it has always been there.
  13. North Carolina Postgame

Oh, well if the teams I mentioned are there, as well, I feel fairly certain it’s not having a balanced offense that’s the variable in driving a successful team.
  14. North Carolina vs. Georgia Tech Predictions #UNCvsGT

38-10, Heels. The only reason I think this game may be close is because they shot their wad last week.
  15. He did again today in the PC

Let’s set aside his attempts to make it seems as though he was responsible for Temple beating our *** Saturday (he was, just not in the way he thinks he was). I’d like to know what he even means when talks about culture. So far it just seems like a catchphrase to verbalize something that he...
  16. Is college football near the end as we know it.

I dunno. I’m an attorney, and I am quite certain those things can be worked through. I do think it’s odd, though, that none of these issues appear to limit professional athletes.
  17. Is college football near the end as we know it.

Let’s say that happens. Who’s being harmed?
  18. Is college football near the end as we know it.

Sure, hoops is different. But with football, I doubt anyone is going to be giving the center a car or cash. There might be a handful of players who get real money, but that’s no different than anything in life. The best get paid the most. And hell, if people are willing to pay, for the...
  19. Is college football near the end as we know it.

Very little will change. Most players just aren’t worth all that much. Even the best minor league baseball players don’t have huge endorsements. A handful of players will likely get some money, and I will be happy for them. I can think of no good reason to prevent a person willing to pay...
  20. Temple Post Game

My point has been that the story has been changed to make it seem as though he was somehow a major part of that outlier class. This is entirely new. As I said above, it would have more credibility if people were saying that a decade ago. That they weren’t suggests his influence is being...
