Yes, Ivey returned after the injury. Really need White and Clayton to recover quickly.

    LOS

It seems like we went from being an OL that was good at run blocking but poor at pass blocking, to a line that is just bad at both (Cochrane's pass blocking excluded). Assuming no changes in the current coaching staff/performance, we will need more than one or two 4-star freshmen to make a...

    #PittvsGT Postgame

I need to vent with some questions that may or may not be rhetorical (Feel free to respond if you have an answer): Why do we get so many kicks blocked? Why don’t we have/play safeties fast enough and aware enough to keep up with opposing receivers? What happened to McGowan? Injured? Is our...

Help with above the line chart

I know we'll be wearing navy, but I want to see some White on Saturday...as in Keion White! Hopefully, he's playing and someone just 'forgot' to list him on the ATL chart.

    Jordan Yates

Just one idiot fan’s opinion: There’s no QB controversy. The coaches still believe Sims is the #1 guy (and so do I). Sims just wasn’t healthy enough Saturday, and it’s smarter to use him as a decoy so that opposing defenses have to prepare for him than to just say he’s not fully recovered yet...

    Clemson ATL?

This article from the AJC is paywalled, but I think I can at least share that Yates is expected to start since it's in the headline. The rest of this post is just my opinion, not from the article: I suspect Sims doesn't play if Yates indeed starts. Sims = decoy for at least another week...

    Game 3 #GTvsCLEM Predictions

I put Clemson by 14+ on the poll, but I agree, if by some fluke Tech wins, it will be a low-scoring affair.

Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

Yes, I would be interested to see a quote from a CGC pressor that indicates he possesses disdain, not ambivalence, mind you, but disdain, for GT supporters because I have yet to see any evidence of this myself. I'm open to being enlightened, however.

Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

This statement, if true, is very consequential as it speaks negatively beyond CGC's win-loss record and suggests he possesses a major character flaw. Do you have any concrete and specific examples that would indicate CGC has a disdain for GT supporters?

    Clemson ATL?

Walton was on last week's list too. No Keion White listed.

Keys to stay competitive in game vs Clemson

Among the many issues fans have taken with Collins, this is the first time I recall his ability to subtract being called into question. 73 - (7 x 7) = 24, not 3 Hopefully, the actual coach Collins is better at math than this hypothetical one.

    PFF Season Grades to date

Fortunately we still have another 9 warmup games before we dive into SEC play. (Just picking on you, I know you meant ACC play) I totally agree with your post and thanks for the insight!

Keys to stay competitive in game vs Clemson

Get some turnovers and make long field goals. Good guys win 12 to 10.

Was it just me or did it seem like Donte Smith was better today than the other backs at waiting patiently for the OL to open up a running lane?

    Week 2 ATL chart?

Hopefully this means Clayton is ready to go this week.

Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

Thanks for posting this. It was worth the 10 minutes to listen. To my surprise, it was not an excuse-laden take from Collins. I thought it was pretty matter-of-fact, actually. One reporter asked a question about a specific poor decision that a player made, and Collins went out of his way to...

    Expectations for the 2021 season

Here’s a grim prediction from a less than brilliant prognosticator at 247 Sports. This scholarly journalist believes we will lose 9 games at the hands of 10 different opponents and that we’ll somehow pick up 3 out-of-conference wins despite losing to UGA and Notre Dame. I’m not even mad, just...

Will Georgia Tech Be The Most Improved Team in ACC This Year?

“Improvement can only be measured by wins and losses.” This is just flat out not true. Improvement could be measured in point differential, yards gained or allowed, first downs, points per drive, comparison to the spread, etc. Hell, we could even measure improvement by changes in attendance...
