I do have a legitimate question re Dontae Smith. In one of the other threads I read where he is the strongest runner, but not nearly as good of a pass blocker. Could his lack of snaps be due to the fact we were forced into far more passing situations early in game?
As I think about it, the problem was not actually the 7 year contract. The problem was the buyout based on the 7 year contract. We should have given him the 7 year contract for PR purposes, but designed the buyout based on 5-6 years,
