As a matter of fact, I know several Auburn grads they were ready to fire Ted after they won their national title with Cam. Seeing as Chizik was a defensive minded head coach, he was partly responsible for that poor performance. They were not happy with their defense that year.
We need to get the whole team Pelaton deals. With the star players at least.
Imagine weekly training sessions with your favorite college athletes. Has potential to makes financial sense on both fronts.
I personally cannot either.
On the flip side, isn't that similar to a coach "ripping off the bandaid" to install a drastically different system? Food for thought.
If he turns this thing around, he will have gained a huge amount of respect, given his poor start.
I remember my freshman year, I went into my chemistry final with a 54 in the class. The professor clearly stated in the first week to not expect a curve no matter what. The final, however, was...
Like I said, I didn't move any goal posts.
Following post from Sep 2020 (notice how I mention top 15 not being realistic here):
Notice here I said I think it's possible for us to stay in the 27th recruiting rank range below:
And finally below you mentioned that you didn't think UNC could...
I remember you agreeing we couldn't recruit at Miami or UNC level. That's always been the goal post to do what we are trying to do with the current staff.
Sorry it came off that way. He's certainly not a goof ball. I'm just not ready to claim this is an amazing/great hire. I'm sure he's a competent coach, most coaches on this level probably are. We shall see how it turns out here. He'll have a dude with plenty of natural ability to work with.
I realize that's what it sounded like. I also realize this is what we can afford. It is what it is. Hoping it works out, Tennessee was his first time coaching QB's and he did it for a less then stellar OC. Maybe things will be different here.
I thought at first we hired the current QB coach at Tennessee, and didn't know much about him, other than this year's QB there had pretty good stats. I was very impressed.
But then I realized he was let go as part of the previous regime. His OC was Chaney and the results for both their offense...
You need to look at more than just passing yards lol.
Also if you were to look up Justin Thomas' s numbers you may be surprised. I think you should have looked before you leapt.
This is absolutely hilarious!! You of all people telling us to not talk negatively about the program.
Please reference the link below that shows how you spoke of the program prior to CGC:

Btw there is very little truth to this, other then not having a pocket passing qb. It's already been pointed out that the ol was very standard size when Collins came in. And there were more 4 star players on the defense then anywhere else.
