    2022 NCAA Football Rules Changes

I don't know about knees, but turf sure messed up ligaments in my foot from a soccer league I played. Granted there were two types of turf, one that has the newer loose grass with the plastic/rubber pellets and an older carpet style. The older carpet style field is where my foot got messed up.

    2022 NCAA Football Rules Changes

Also the Kentucky bowl game from 2016, then the replay showed it was his own teammate that hit him lol.

    2022 NCAA Football Rules Changes

I would be much more open to these rules changes if there was actually data to back it up. I ask you all, how many players did we lose on defense when we ran the option due to cut blocking? How many opponents' players were lost? Same two questions for any other option teams, or Wake Forest for...

    2022 NCAA Football Rules Changes

Guess we should also ban tackling below the waist according to popular logic.

    Favorite road win

Oh man I sat in a sea of BC fans and gave them hell after the 4th and 19 completion followed by the winning score.

Random question. What is the loudest you've heard Bobby Dodd Stadium or The Thrillerdome in person? I'll start.

09 vs VT. It was homecoming vs top 5 ranked VT. One of the best live sports game I've ever seen in person.

    Conference Realignment

What is to stop a school from the big 10 from "hiring" a booster to a lucrative contract, who then pays players for "NIL" deals? You can hire the booster to fill whatever position you like within the athletic department. One way that TV deals stay relevant with respect to NIL

    Fall Camp News

He certainly seems knowledgeable enough. I'm really pulling for him to get things turned around this year. If he does and Chip creates the same amount of production at his other stops, it could be a surprisingly good year. If those two things happen and we get 7 plus wins while looking...

    Rank Your Excitement for 2022

If he wins 8 is be happy and happy for him, but it would feel more like about time you hit the average. I suspect though most would treat it as the second coming.

Athlon: ACC Coaches Talk Anonymously (2022)

I talked to JC Lanier a few times back when he was on o line. He told me Coach Johnson would absolutely tear into them in practice when they made mistakes, but he seemed appreciative of it rather than disgruntled. When we were kids, we wanted to have fun and have a good time, but feel down we...

AJC Geoff Collins interview, somewhat a preview of season 4

I don't think he did comment on that. He actually seemed much more reserved than in the past. There was little to no substance, however (as usual). He could have commented on how the offense would be different, what they changed on defense (schematically or approach wise). The only real bit of...

Athlon: ACC Coaches Talk Anonymously (2022)

I don't understand. If all we have done is recruit overrated talent, why is it that our overrated talent is transferring to start at Alabama, Ole Miss, and so on... I do agree with the BC section rant about what Tech should have done though.
