Eye test instead of win count.,.for one more season. Our guys haven’t looked prepared for the game many times during CGC’s tenure. I’m not sure if that’s true but it’s the way it looks sometimes. Maybe CGC’s game time coaching is poor and it makes the players look unprepared. Kinda reminds...
I’m afraid Tech’s football future is bleak. We are in one of the weakest divisions in P5 and how many times have we represented the Coastal in the ACC Championship game in the last decade? Last two decades? Not many. Are you optimistic about things improving? Me either. So many...
Well said. Nice demonstration of how to be pro-CPJ and pro-CGC. In the end, we are all pro-GT and just want some W’s and the thought that we can give Clemson and UGA a good game.
My concerns about our current state of affairs mirror yours. For many seasons with CPJ, I felt like we always...

I love the TO as much as anyone but, unfortunately, we can’t unring the Geoff bell. My confidence was beginning to wane with the TO anyway, not because of the scheme or rule changes but because we couldn’t find many high-level personnel that wanted to play in it. I think our new...
It seems like we had a lot of injuries that year. I was at that game. I’ve never seen a fan base exit the stadium as quickly as the FSU fans did and I think they had more fans there than we did. 😂
20th from worst all-time in yards given up per play. It’s amazing that 2014 turned out so well for us. Five of the 40 worst yards per play games happened in 2014 (#4 - Georgia Southern - 8.8 YPP, #8 - Miami - 8.0 YPP, #9 - Pitt - 8.0 YPP, #18 - FSU - 7.7 YPP, #39 - Miss. State - 7.2). I guess...
It’s the most yards we’ve ever given up. The second highest number of yards we’ve given up in our history was 660 against UCF on 9/19/2020. An interesting related stat is that we gave up 605 yards to Mississippi State in the Orange Bowl (12/31/2014) but still won.
I haven’t posted in over a year and I’m probably going to regret posting now. During CPJ’s tenure, many on this board believed we couldn’t recruit because of CPJ’s offensive scheme...even on the defense. The scheme is gone so what is our major impediment to recruiting now? Honestly, if we...
I think Paul’s decline has more to do with the NFL than anything. If NFL teams were run-heavy then more recruits would’ve been interested in a run-heavy offense in college. Since that’s not the case, NFL seeking recruits looked elsewhere. Love it or hate it, the TO works. I can only imagine...
Why? Do you think recruiting is going to be good after this season? Even if it is, do you see any evidence they can be coached up?

Well, I’m not happy about our team/coach performance but I’m just as concerned about the effects of the transfer portal and the new California law which will surely snowball. I’m having difficulty seeing a path to relevancy any time within the next several years, if ever.
It seems like the...
When Martin left the game last night I had the exact same sinking feeling I had when JJ Green fumbled against Tennessee.
