Freshman year I walked past Joe Ham heading from Towers up towards the hill, and I (just a hair under 6’) was at least 2-3” taller than he was in cleats. It blew my mind seeing him be that good at that size.

Since that was the 4th game, he should get his redshirt no problem. Give him an extra year to work on his craft and he could be a solid player for us next year (assuming he wants to come back). Hell, maybe he bulks up a bit and moves into a hybrid TE/WR role.

Why do so many people use the results of the Duke game as a referendum on the entire Paul Johnson experience instead of someone like VT? Scratch that, I know it’s because we were 4-1 vs VT over the past 5 years and that just goes against the narrative. Whatever. Side note, it’s funny watching...

And that was with a functioning offense too (although they did have a top 5 NFL pick at QB). This looks to me like Vegas trying to find a spread we can beat. They’ll keep making it bigger until we finally get an against-the-spread win.

We have 8 games left and Yates hasn’t played yet. With the new rules he should be playing in half the remaining games so he can keep his redshirt. No need to burn anyone’s redshirt this year.

You can’t describe this year and last year with the same adjective. This year is many orders of magnitude worse than last year.
