Why do we keep saying as long as Prime keeps winning at Colorado? He's 3-0 and beaten two bad teams. Let's crown his *** after they play Oregon and USC over the next 10 days.
I went to that game. Leonard is an NFL QB, Duke is well-coached, but what shocked me was Duke was physically superior to Clemson in the trenches. Couldn't believe what I was watching.
Pretty clear they aren't targeting the 40-60 year olds that are committed to sports and they are targeting the younger crowd that don't give a rip anyway. The NFL pregame show with Ryan Clark and RG3 was a mess tonight. They just aren't very good.

Some of you that have issues with the Atlantic Coast Conference including Stanford, Cal or SMU are going to be stunned to learn where Louisville and Pittsburgh are not located.
Should have been in on Texas before the SEC was. Should have been in on USC, UCLA, and Stanford together. I know I suggested an ACC/PAC merger at least a year ago. The screwups go all the way back to 1990ish when they should have gotten Penn State before the Big Ten did.
If only the ACC would have just grabbed UCLA/USC with Stanford, Oregon, and Washington before the B1G to get more ACC Network money out west............ now we have to look at Cal and SMU and other nonsense. None of this matters unless Notre Dame joins full time.
ACC is going to kill itself within 10 years because there are too many teams that don't contribute much. We might be one of them depending on your view of the ATL market. If we are, we deserve to be in a lower conference.
We are betting on those schools adding revenue through the ACC Network in SF, Oakland, and Dallas. If that's the strategy, let's add Temple too!!
Let's go back to divisions for scheduling in football and create better content.
First Division - get 65% of revenue
Clemson
FSU
Miami
GT...
Put FSU, Clemson, NCSU, and VT in the SEC. Put UNC, Miami, and GT in the B1G - UVA if they want them. Let Louisville go to the B12 with WVU and CIncinnati.
UCLA and USC. Wait. Okay, Oregon and Washington. ****. Fine Utah and Arizona. F me. Let's just take Oregon St and San Diego St and call ourselves the Mountain East conference
Ha. Some of these schools will only be included if their partners don't kick them out because they're already in. If the networks blow up every conference and started over, things would look a lot different. And probably end between 30 and 40 schools.
GT's biggest sales pitch to the B1G is...
NBA-Lite and AAA baseball have gazillions of fans and games splattered all over TV!!!! What makes you think NFL-lite will when the top 30% alienate everyone else? How much do you think those "factory" fans are going to care when their team is 4-8 every year because they don't get 6 free 48-7...
OKay, let's say the SEC and B1G form two super conferences and everyone else is the equivalent of the Mountain West or Sun Belt right now making a tiny fraction of the money with basically zero chance to recruit the best players and compete.
I don't want to argue which teams get in and which...
There's nothing for the ACC to expand with other than Notre Dame or Penn State. ESPN would gladly accept either and redo the deal. The ACC isn't adding Sun Belt, CUSA, or AAC schools just for the sake of adding more schools.
The SEC isn't expanding either unless they get top notch brands...
