  1. Conference Realignment

The other solution is Notre Dame decides what happens to the ACC. It will never happen but if Notre Dame could get the ACC a contract in the B1G/SEC range and then convince Penn State to come with them that easily saves the ACC. If we have to kick out teams to make that happen then so be it...
  2. Conference Realignment

FSU and Clemson's best way out is to just outright piss off ESPN and get ESPN to dissolve the conference. For example, if ESPN says FSU vs NC State is going to be a Noon game on ESPN2, just schedule the damn game at 8pm and piss off ESPN. ESPN either decides to modify the contract (money) to...
  3. Conference Realignment

There is nothing the ACC can do except get Notre dame to join full time. Adding schools does nothing for the money issue. We need to eliminate 3-5 schools, if anything
  4. Conference Realignment

The B1G will eventually go from 18 to 24 with ACC schools when they can get out of the GOR stuff. I think the schools would be UNC, UVA, GT, FSU or Miami, Clemson (unless SEC will offer them), and Notre Dame. If ND still says no, then maybe Duke or both FSU/Miami. The B1G will want the ATL...
  5. Conference Realignment

The 8 reported, FWIW, are UVA, VT, UNC, NCSU, Clemson, FSU, Miami and Louisville. I would hope we are in every single discussion with them and if there is a way to break up the ACC we should be talking to the B1G every damn day about offering them a footprint right in the SEC's backyard.
  6. Conference Realignment

I think the B1G would love GT with FSU or Miami, UNC, UVA, and maybe Clemson to add several more big markets and stomp right into SEC recruiting territory
  7. Conference Realignment

Basketball money is chump change compared to football money. Honestly, the save for the ACC is to let the Saudis buy out the conference. I don't know why they would but I don't know why they pay a bunch of golfers a gazillion dollars to never be on TV
  8. Conference Realignment

F FSU. I say take their exit fee and 100% of their TV money through 2036 and they can go piss off.
  9. Conference Realignment

That would be like saying the Pac-12 shouldn't take Clemson or FSU because the ACC can't get a great deal. Oregon and Washington aren't the TV problem. Oregon St, Wash St, etc.... are
  10. Conference Realignment

Honestly, the ACC surviving would be to kick out Duke, Wake, BC, and maybe Syracuse. Get Miami back to winning 10+ games but not sure that's ever happening again. Get Va. Tech back to the Frank Beamer days. But we gotta get rid of the teams that suck with TV ratings and are a total drain...
  11. Conference Realignment

ACC should get Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Utah, and maybe Stanford or Cal. I would think that would re-open the contract with ESPN. It would allow the ACC Network to make money in those West Coast markets. And lock those schools into the GOR so they can't be poached by anyone else. All...
  12. Alright mannnn what's your best memory of Georgia Tech football?

This for me except flip the in person and tv part
  13. Coming soon to GT: Corporate sponsorships and new names for football field and basketball gym

How many 4-star players can the deal fund with NIL money?
  14. 2022-23 GTWBB

Mill Creek's Bella Ragone offered by Coach Fortner tonight.
  15. Conference Realignment

If the B1G wants to get extremely big and make money with large markets, then plenty of those schools would interest them including GT. I love Gonzaga's basketball program and what Mark Few has done. But if I were adding them as basketball only, I'd certainly want to see what they look like in...
  16. 2022-23 GTWBB

We've offered 6'2'' wing from River Ridge that is a rising freshman. She's a baller
  17. Conference Realignment

Everyone doesn't pay the same amount for each channel. The Big Ten Network charges a lot more in markets where they have teams. There are a lot of people in the ATL so they could make a lot more money off their own Network by adding us to their conference.
  18. ACC Baseball Tournament

So the first four games of the tournament (All Tuesday games and Wednesday 11AM game) feature the 2 vs 3 seeds in each pool. That means the loser of those four games have nothing to play for in their second game and the other four games are quarterfinals. For example, if BC, UNC, Duke, and ND...
  19. ACC Baseball - 2023

I think we are 11 and in the UVA/UNC pool
  20. ACC Baseball - 2023

I think 6 is the BC/ND winner, 7 is UNC and 8 is the BC/ND loser
