Agree with you on wishing he kept Mac, but kind of figured this was going to happen. I think strike one should be judged on the record after year 1, strike 2 should be judged on next year recruiting class. IF you get strikes on both of them, 2020 will be a very important season.
Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but in the past when we have had SA become ineligible they usually transfer out? The only one that I think stayed was JHD, but not 100% sure if his was Academic related . Not saying JG can’t turn it around, just wondering what has happened in the past
I never put that much weight behind the “I’m getting calls from other coaches wanting to come”. Now that temple went outside the program to hire MD, I would guess that just about all the temple staff is coming with him.

That’s one of my biggest concerns. He hasn’t been anywhere long enough to figure out if what ever you are looking at (recruiting/on field results) is due to him, the previous coach, or just the situation that provided the results.

I will be very surprised if Andy Mac stays. After not getting an interview, I could see him moving on to somewhere else. He is highly regarded as a recruiter and I could see all the top programs going after him.
