2024 ACC Football Schedule Reveal - Jan 24th, ACC Network and ESPN2

I like the sentiment. My vote would be we play UGA every year and rotate through the other 3 (preferably in 2 for 1’s, I don’t like the buy games as we’ve gotten burned and lost in too many of them). Round out the non-conf schedule with 2 “exciting” games vs P4 opponents or intriguing G5s. FCS...

2024 ACC Football Schedule Reveal - Jan 24th, ACC Network and ESPN2

I may be in the minority but as someone still living in Atlanta I love the Thursday night game. Wife’s birthday is the next day, so that’s the perfect excuse to take Friday off and enjoy a long weekend basking in the W

    3 Bye Weeks in 2024

Random thought, but I realized today that with an early Labor Day in 2024 (September 2nd), there will be 14 Saturdays between the first full CFB Saturday (August 31st) and Thanksgiving rivalry weekend (Nov 30th). Since we play Week 0 in Dublin, that means we will have THREE bye weeks next year...

And now one for Duke or VT to the Mayo Bowl. Really starting to look like the Pinstripe for us

Looking like Miami to the Sun Bowl

    Bowl Projections & Rumors

Pretty much every outlet is projecting BC to stay home for the Fenway Bowl. VT also played in the Pinstripe Bowl in 2021 so unlikely they get sent back there so soon. Duke is our best hope to take the Pinstripe instead -- haven't played there since 2015 and have tons of alumni in the NYC area...

    Conference Realignment

Here’s the list of all the ABC Saturday Night Football games this year as a point of comparison. Impressive we beat out ND twice, as well as two ranked matchups for #5 Washington. If you include the ESPN Saturday night game as well, we also beat some big time SEC matchups like Week 3...

Transfer Portal: Who do we need to target this offseason?

All the insiders are saying Notre Dame. I guess he followed a bunch of their players on Twitter recently. He also entered the portal with a “No contact” tag so he knows where he’s going already

    Absurdly Early 2024 Predictions

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39007593/duke-quarterback-riley-leonard-enters-transfer-portal Riley Leonard officially entering the transfer portal today. Rumors saying he’s a near lock to go to Notre Dame, so looks like we’ll likely be facing him next year anyways.

    Bowl Projections & Rumors

Fair enough. Helps that the Gasparilla Bowl is in Raymond James Stadium now. Shows how much I’ve paid attention to that bowl the past 5 years, I still thought it was in the Trop but that hasn’t been the case since 2017!

    Bowl Projections & Rumors

I really gotta think that coachless Duke or Syracuse will be the ones to drop to the Tier 2 bowl and we’ll get the Pinstripe at a minimum. Then again, we’ve been shafted in this situation before (hello Quick Lane Bowl)

    Bowl Projections & Rumors

Yeah differing opinions on NYC aside, can we all agree and rejoice in the fact that it’s impossible for us to get relegated to Shreveport? Thank you Big 12/Pac 12 for taking over that tie-in and giving the ACC the Holiday Bowl in return.

    Bowl Projections & Rumors

Fair point on Duke maybe being less sought after with Elko gone. VT played in the Duke’s Mayo in 2019, hopefully that’s recent enough that they decide they’d rather take GT for the novelty aspect. Certainly not counting on it though

    Bowl Projections & Rumors

I’m hoping for Auburn in Charlotte. Neither of us have ever played in that bowl, historic rivalry, and driving distance for both. Think it’d be well attended.

    Bowl Projections & Rumors

Completely forgot about Notre Dame too. They’ll get a Florida bowl, so you’ll be left with us, Miami, Duke, Syracuse, and Virginia Tech as the 7-5/6-6 teams vying for the Pinstripe, Sun, Duke Mayo, Military, and Birmingham/Gasparilla/First Responder. So there is a chance we get bumped to Tier 2...

    Bowl Projections & Rumors

Syracuse played in the Pinstripe last year so they’ll go somewhere else. BC would be the other logical choice, but they look to be a lock for the Fenway Bowl. Virginia Tech, Miami, and Duke have also played there somewhat recently, and Clemson/NCST/UNC are all 8-4 and have likely earned a...

    Postgame: UGA 31-GT 23

True I forgot about that dumb scheduling…bummer. Can we at least get Auburn on the OOC schedule regularly like uga-Clemson have done? Still our 3rd-most played opponent all-time

    Postgame: UGA 31-GT 23

I echo what most everyone has said in here about the game itself. Excited about the trajectory of our team and building on this year, but ultimately all we have to show for yesterday is moral victories and that sucks. I’ll add that yesterday was my first COFH game in the stands since...

    Favorite COFH win/moment?

I've just been a fan since 2015 when I stepped on campus so our only win since then (😒) is my answer by default. It was a great game, and the image of Searcy's leap over the goal line will always be seared into my mind. I remember at the time the sentiment in our fanbase and amongst local...
