Yeah I know they do exist. I said it that way because we'll see how they respond to these situations when the NCAA is all willy-nilly handing out waivers. I don't know what other conferences may or may not have these type rules in place, but I can see them going to the wayside in a hurry...

Yeah the waiver should get approved no problem. We're talking about the ACC-transfer rule. Supposedly the ACC and SEC have transfer rules in place that an athlete must sit one year if transferring within the conference.

Actually, maybe we could end up getting the best of both worlds. The conference rules may trump the NCAA rules, but with a coaching change at Miami, Ezzard has more ground to stand and could possibly fight that too. Also with all the transferring going on these days, I think we'll see an end...

Not sure how well those rules will hold up anymore. We're sure hoping Ezzard can play this year.

Not sure about that either. He was 5* talent coming out of high school. Injured his first season then went through 2 DCs and never found his fit. I'm fairly certain a larger school, whether us or not, will take a chance on him.

Wouldn't get hopes up quite yet. He's also follwing Kirby, UGAg's DC, and DL coach, as well as some coaches from Vandy and USF.

Oh I'm sure something like that will, I know they just did this quickly to get something here for spring and there will likely be more added by the time the season rolls around. Patch, something painted on the field, players earning the right to wear #90 each week in honor, and they may change...

Those are for spring practices if I understood him correctly. Still working with the team on a way to honor him during the season.

I'd like to see something like this too but it's hard to plan for something like this unless we kick to start the game. If we get the ball first, you never know how that first possession will play out and if it will be a good time or key moment to try and execute something like that. With that...

In is one thing, out is another. You don't want to have to wait in any sort of line to "scan out." Also, that won't work if you leave early, you likely aren't going to "scan out" anyway.
