Sims is a physical prototype of a QB. 6-4, close to 240. Dude could play TE. I think he's enough more athletic than Pyron to matter. That said, he's had a hard time consistently performing up to, or improving towards his high ceiling.

I can tell you this. Thacker cares, with a capital C. A very good friend of mine (and a Tech grad) is his neighbor and says that Thacker lives and dies with the outcome of these games.

I agree, but there are two consequences of that change. 1) Fewer seats in a row. 2) The row spacing is already tight (Is that better in the new stands? I sit UW). Adding seats with backs will make it that much more difficult to walk up and down the rows during a game.

What adaptations rectify "can't block"? That's the big problem. Right there for everyone to see. The OL ain't good. Fix that and lots of other things look 1000% better.

Disagree. The screen we missed on was a potential TD. We missed open guys downfield multiple times, whether through bad throws or interference. We had WR's dropping critical passes. The plays were there, we didn't make them. That ain't on the playcalling.

If you wanted to run the ball, the 3rd string QB is probably the guy. But I think it is tough to run or throw when your OL is as leaky as a busted condom.
