I was in the process of taking off my jersey and turning off the TV (the jersey was on the hanger in the closet) when the fumble happened. It was back on when Leary caught it and I'm screaming at my wife "Georgia Tech just won the game!!!"
When Miami was driving up 20-17 and we used our last timeout, Miami has a 99.9% chance to win per ESPN. When we got the ball after the fumble, it was still a 99.9% chance of Miami winning. 26 seconds later, Tech is 100% winning!
For the first time in 14 years of GT football Fandom I left a game early, and not only early, but before the end of the 3rd. I guess this week will be very productive cause I won't spend time keeping up with the team.
