Excellent first quarter against Furman today. We've been on fire at the line and are playing extremely aggressive, yet clean, pressuring defense. Up 23-9 after 1
If we can get out of September 2-2 or better that will be a good start (obviously 3-1 or 4-0 is better). Then I think it comes down to how the schedule shakes out, where are the trap games, etc.
Yes and Peyton Manning should have won it in 1997. That was a weird time for the Heisman and had a bunch of controversy surrounding multiple picks in that Era.
Yeah it was a different, more focused team today that played well together and caused a lot of positive pressure through turnovers, attacking basketball, and good shooting.
Didn't get a photo of the End of Game stats, but we looked much better and more coherent than the last game I could make (uga). All in all good improvements in a 71-45 win!
My only current concern after reading the AJC article is that the first year buyout drops on Dec 31 2023. I thought we learned the lesson of putting contact end dates at the end of the season, not the end of the calendar year.
Also for those wondering, if Key leaves he owes us 4MM in 2023, 3MM...
This really bugged me all season. A running back would get hot and then they would go away from the seemingly hot hand for the entire rest of the game.
