Not to rain on your parade, but I was joking about the blue jerseys because that poster loves bringing up his love for all things Gold.
BUT I won't be surprised if we do come out with some cool jerseys for this annual game.
Have you been to any home games the past few years? Frankly, it's embarrassing, depressing and definitely not impressive to recruits.
This is a way to reinvigorate the fanbase and hopefully add more future season ticket holders. This will also help recruiting MUCH more than a game at BDS would...
Going to Clemson and UGA games the past few years tell me everything I need to know about my fellow fans. I'm not the one who sold tickets to our rivals. If playing at MBS helps us pick up some new fans to replace the "diehards" that sell tickets to UGA and Clemson fans every year that's fine...
Why do you keep saying we will get "pounded on national television" - you know we can win the game too right? And you do realize winning on national TV like that would be huge for our brand?
Our "fans" sell out to UGA and Clemson fans every year anyway, so I don't really care where we play.
Against marquee programs they have already basically been defacto road games in our own STADIUM. Have you been to the UGA or Clemson games within the past 5 years?
Clemson and UGA have already been close to 50/50 for the past few games, so what's the difference? We will bring more "sidewalk" fans and non-season ticket holder fans to this game as well so it will still be 50/50. It's not like BDS is some great home-field advantage for us against big name...
What exactly is this "cost"? Besides tradition and home field advantage, what's the big deal? I understand people are upset but if this helps our team in the long term then deal with it for one game per year.
I sound like a broken record, but playing one game a year at MBS will help with...
People are acting like we are giving up our entire schedule to play them all at MBS. I don't understand the outrage of having one less home game to help us in other important areas such as recruiting and finances. It's a fair trade off and will pay off if it helps us bring in big time players...
You can't compare MBS to Pitt or Miami's stadiums. MBS is one of the most prestigious stadiums in the WORLD, and is the center of the CFB universe. You don't see national championship games being played in Pittsburgh. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Can't we at least wait for the press conference tomorrow before everyone gets their panties in a twist? The overreactions on here are just ridiculous, what a bunch of divas.
If we have one MBS stadium game per year to help with recruiting and money I don't see the issue. Especially if it's...
Funny you already knew he was gone at that point, which was a year before our Final 4 trip. You shoulda let our Athletic Department know not to give him that contract!!
