The Miracle on Techwood was in 2015…a lucky one that went our way. What I really remember about 2015 is that the entire team was hurt. I think the water boy was even on the IR list.
Is it me or does Sims look a little indecisive, uncomfortable, and unconfident? Maybe a lack of confidence in the OL or maybe the play calling/check downs are too complicated? There’s no doubt that he’s very gifted athletically but there’s something amiss.
Maybe we should start calling for TStan’s resignation and maybe he will give us CGC as the sacrificial lamb. Seriously though…what could happen that would get you optimistic about next year? Finishing by beating ND and/or the mutts? A stud QB transfer? A new coach? I’m not sure what would...
With three wins and only two games left, why not put the third or fourth string in for a series or two. This recklessness may mean that we could lose 49-14 instead of 49-7 but we might catch lightning in a bottle.
I live north of Atlanta and there always seem to be multiple lane closures because of construction or wrecks. I even tried taking MARTA but getting to the station can sometimes be an issue for the same reason. Thursday night games were almost impossible. I’ve been to Clemson, Athens, Auburn...
I think some teams can be mediocre and still draw a good crowd.
If you’re in the SEC, you can suck but there’s a good chance that your opponent will have a high degree of interest. Outside of Clemson, we don’t have that luxury.
It is a chore getting to the games because of traffic. I really...
Our losses to Duke and UNC in 2014 were for a combined total of 11 points. We did win a couple of close games that year but that was a really, really good team. If you couldn’t get excited while watching that team then I’d have to check you for a pulse. 😂
In 2015, I walked through the tailgating area and a ND fan jumped in front of me, shook my hand, and said, “Welcome to Notre Dame. I hope you enjoy your time here.” It was 100% genuine and 100% classy.
Aye, I’ll be there. I had a good time at the game against the Irish in 2015, despite the loss. I’ll probably still have a good time this year. It’s a fun game day experience. An upset would be fabulous.
Close to 10 wins? 😂. CGC will probably get his 10th win on 9/10/22. Please let me be wrong. I’m driving to South Bend this weekend and I would like to see a decent game…maybe even an upset.
Honestly, I doubt anyone could’ve done any better than CGC with this high-level, elite talent in the...
Not to make things worse but there’s an excellent chance we will be 1-3 in September next year. Clemson, Western Carolina, Ole Miss, and UCF.
Resign Geoff.
I remember seeing this bumper sticker in the 80s. Things do turn around but all I can think of right now is, Go CGC and take your assistants with you. In other words, resign. Please don’t make us endure 5-7 years of this awfulness. If you leave now, you can blame this on CPJ and the 3O...
