I agree with you. But feel I am slightly more optimistic that we will have a noticeable Net Gain. IMO, we have an upward trend that is attracting better talent than we have experienced in quite a while. Specifically NFL calibre talent.

Agree. Referees don't live in a vacuum. They see the headlines and try to sense " which way the wind is blowing", IMO almost subconsciously. It's not blatant, but very subtle. It appears, at vital times, their thumb is on the scale. :unsure:

As far as opponents go, and I have seen both Rutgers and Northwestern play, I would prefer we play Rutgers. Northwestern has a new coach and he has them playing VERY well. IMO, it would be a tough out.
