Not trying to cause friction - I am NOT a recruiting guru. But, haven't you been using data from the 90's and 2000's to make your argument?

Let me start with I am the anti-expert on most things basketball, but I have stalked this forum for a while now. I had my hopes up this year, because I felt we were ahead of the curve last year, and I liked the class that just came in. Then the suspensions (on the coattails of the UNC no call)...

@Techster I see where you are coming from. I just don't think the system is the primary hindrance to our overall recruiting. I think we are in an "arms war" where the competition is leveraging advantages we can not equal. The current star system that says an athlete is elite, is in many ways...

That's what I am saying - it's not the system. Our recruiting has been about the same regardless. The previous poster said the system was what is keeping the elite recruits away.

I think the issue is, those elite offensive recruits do not want to play at Georgia Tech. Let's be honest - we've had other systems for decades prior and recruiting has been basically the same with the exception of a limited number of outlier years.

I believe he's a straight-up Junior this year.

I absolutely LOVE this promo! CJP has been a springboard for some new excitement beyond just recruiting and play on the court. I'm hoping this will continue for years to come.
