It was so long ago and I just remember thinking why is this guy making claims about our new ol coach in the middle of a bunch of little random Falcon tidbits. Why is this necessary? I looked his bio up and saw he is a big time Dawg. He probably got it from Kirby.

I wouldn’t be surprised if these online blog columns get edited after publication. Maybe Key and the GT PR staff pushed back against Ledbetter’s contention. Bet Ledbetter had no proof or on the record source.

Sorry, but I don't have that column handy to link. I am just telling what I read with my own two eyes in the AJC. I was taken aback by it as well. If there is any slander it's from the AJC and their sources.

Scubapro, please take the time to open the last video in Youtube. trust me, it's worth the time to click on the youtube link and take a look. It is a great breakdown of how the shovel is supposed to work. It's an option off the play-side def end. The presenter does a great job.

I love him on that as well but I think P wanted to surprise them with something we hadn’t used before. That had to be a pre-planned sequence with option play setting it up. When the play started with all the motion to the left, I thought they were doing the option play again.

I think the option play was used to set up the shovel pass play for the goal line situation. Especially since I don’t remember us running a shovel pass to the tight end in forever. I think Coach P had no confidence we could push the Clemson d line enough to gain one yard on the goal line...
