I believe these used to be called press conferences. They are primarily to help journalists write their stories.
I don’t think they are that important to us remote viewers. We only get to see them now thanks to the internet and YouTube.
True here as well but YouTube TV still pays the ESPN fee for each subscriber. At some point, if they keep raising the fees per subscriber, they will price the people who don't watch sports out. These people will migrate to the providers that don't have the ESPN channels.
I think this is real story in the expansion saga. The ACC should just sell itself to ESPN and let ESPN own it like they own most of the bowl games.
Seriously, if ESPN can find a way to make large amounts of money off the ACC TV rights in the future (with declining cable/sat TV/streaming...
I except to see a lot of this from Gibbs this year: screens, swing passes, two back sets w/motion out to the slot. Anything to get Gibbs the ball in space
I go to and watch the games to see Ga Tech play, not the opponents. I'll go no matter who we play as long as we're in a P5 conf. Now, if we get relegated to a G5 conf, then I would be upset but i would still go to the games.
