NIL, as far as I know, is not designed to be “pay for play.” NIL $ is not supposed to be connected to particular schools. But in reality, it is. There might be a way to separate NIL from specific programs. I dunno how, but it is so obvious it’s pay for play that they don’t even pretend it’s not.
