Speculation - I do not agree with your assumption that FSU would have got blown out by Michigan. Speculation is for hedge funds and real estate developers not CFP committees. I'll still watch CFP but not as interested. I actually have decided bowls could be more fun because get to see some...
thanks for posting - early on, he was one of my favorites for tech job until I thought we could get Willie. He is a very good coach but I believe he wants to be out West. Surprised Oregon St didn't get him. Great record and took UVA to Orange Bowl - wow.
You are right on current endowment sizes but if these football schools realize roll call dollars are going for football and not research, every trailer park in alabama will be funding roll call - and there are a lot of trailer parks in alabama. At Stanford and Duke, I don't think roll call...
I hear you on the byes but I was under the impression that the the 4 P5 conferences including ACC and Big12 champs got automatic spots regardless of ranking. Not a guanteed bye, nor a guaranteed home game if not in top 4, but a guaranteed spot. They get this as a P5 conference.
I think you are right on the format but still have a question. Currently only conference champions can earn a bye for slots 1-4. Do you think they will keep that? My guess is they will eliminate that and seeds will be based totally on where you finish. What do you think?
how in the world do you not vote 1. mich 2 wash 3 fsu 4 tex - that would be my vote assuming these half time leads prevail- bama lost to tex and fsu whipped lsu and those are facts - sorry bama and uga but that is the way the old ball bounces - bama should have beaten tex if it wanted in -...
UGA - I personally don't think Bama's QB is all that good. He doesn't read defenses well and will throw an INT in a heartbeat and also take a sack pretty quick too.
King should be ahead of Plummer and so should Costellanos. King running blows Plummer away and he may be a better passer. With that said King needs to work on locking in on one receiver - he is bad about that.
I'm not saying this is going to be a great team but I did like the way we took on Miss St last night inside. Miss St. wants to bully you and we had a lot of that done to us last year. For one game at least, we would not be bullied.
i still need to finish 2nd half film review but all the linebackers need to shed blockers and maintain gap responsibility better. #13 was the worst but none were good. There were way too many gaps left open and appeared to me that LBs were primarily responsible. It was ugly at times.
Cooley tiptoes and does not hit the hole hard at all. He also never makes the first guy miss. The offense this year started clicking when Smith began playing. Not that he was the most important player or even great but because we needed somone else besides Haynes who would hit the hole hard...
