Big money guys should be more proactive than reactive. If there’s money to fire him there’s money to spend on quality coordinators and more analysts. And if there’s that much money we shouldn’t hire hired this goofball in the first place.
Maybe we’ll have a new ad. Pisses me off so much that we have the funding to piss away $10m but we go bargain bin shopping for coordinators. And a hc for that matter. Going to have step up and pay coordinators ~1.5m to be competitive.
Probably no one. But we could just step up the OC and DC pay to about ~$1M-$1.5M each and try to get someone great that doesn't end up getting a HC job this cycle. Herman, Mullen, Patterson, idk. It will be cheaper than paying a buy-out that's for sure. Someone good would work for $1.5M.
QB talent instate is light years ahead of when Chan was here. GA always produced talented hs players but not qbs. That's really changed in the past decade. He'd have a much better shot at getting a top QB now than back then. Still, there's only ~60ish P5 starting qb jobs out there now, same...
Zelnek, Greg Garrett (he's certainly not hidden, he's quoted in AJC all the time), and I assume Taz Anderson's family just to name a few. Mark Texeria seems like he's involved quite a bit too.
Rathburn and Brian Jordan aren’t the highest quality college football guys. Rathburn is pretty good for the hawks, and was decent today but Brian Jordan didn’t know what he was talking about half the time.
It’s got actors decked out in official gt gear. A girl coach and a few football players. It was muted on my secondary tv so I didn’t hear anything they said.
Who else we going to get? Pastner is garbage, thought so from the day he was hired. Might as well let his buyout go down some before pulling the trigger and getting yet another medicore coach who for some reason can’t recruit.
