Well, he said "some schools" contacted his family. He didn't say "some guys", or "some people affiliated with other schools". He didn't say his family reached out to other schools. You may be correct, but I don't see why you would give other schools the benefit of the doubt based on the words...

I think it's too early. The portal only opened for undergrads on Dec 4. Just browsing 24/7, it appears that only a small percentage of portalers (or is that portalees?) have been identified as finding a new home.

Wasn't the rumor that FSU (and perhaps Clemson too) was leaving in November? Or was it October? I can't keep up with these rumors. It's been like the guy who predicts the apocalypse on a certain day, then the day passes, so the date changes, etc. :)
