Those are all fair concerns, but in case you missed last season, we didn't exactly score a whole lot of runs anyway. John Hart has made it pretty clear that the Braves are building towards 2017. Personally, I'm a huge John Hart fan, so I have total confidence that he knows what he's doing.
When I first saw this, I wasn't a fan of this trade b/c Heyward is my favorite player. But the more I think about this, the more I tend to agree with the move. Let's face it. The Braves weren't going to be able to resign Heyward. I think that ship sailed after locking him up for two years last...
I think the defense will get some help from a semi-rusty Deshaun Watson in the first half, and that that'll be enough time to give Tech a good lead in the first half. Clemson will definitely make a pseudo-comeback in the second half to make it interesting though. I think Tech wins it in the end...
Makes sense since it immediately follows Gameday. Most people whose team doesn't play at noon will more often than not just leave it on there after Gameday
I'd love for the Falcons to get him. With him and Julio with Roddy in the slot, the Falcons offense would be even more terrifying to opposing defenses. But they need defense help way too badly
If I understand correctly, that "This week in Shadenfreude" series is more meant to be about stereotypes and overreacting fans. I think it's more meant as satire than as seriousness
I think this could easily be a trap game if Tech isn't careful. Being ranked also seems to have a negative effect on us. I'll say that this one is a lot closer than it maybe should be, but Tech still wins 42-38
