You don’t want CBK having anything to do with or be close to the play calling. He absolutely failed at that while at UCF. The “AHC” title is just a name to get him more money. He might have a few responsibilities but nothing major outside of run game coordinator or O line coaching.

Sims can pass and throw. That’s the key piece you’re missing. He can run and pass efficiently

Sims gets us more scores and opportunities to score then yates. He also is a so much better runner which in result makes the defense play sims as a runner and a passer. Yates is a lot easier to gameplan for as a defense.
