Collins wants to keep Thacker and possibly even as DC. The donors are forcing him to make moves and keeping Thacker currently is upsetting everyone.Collins is fighting for Thacker very hard
Not a pay site, just what I’ve heard from friends in the program. Factors that could push the hand of donors and school president to clear house and some of these factors are already happening: Losing locker room(already happened), multiple key players entering portal (already Gibbs)...
There’s some things that could happen soon that pushes Collins being fired. TStan and Collins are tied together and both are on very very thin and shaky ground.
Everyone tampers nowadays without doing it illegally. Example, Gibbs has a friend at bama, tells him he might be transferring, that player tells a coach that a top player like Gibbs is entering the portal, the coach gets back to the bama player and says bama would take him if he entered the...
Don’t see how this is talking down on the team. I’ve been right a few times on things like this. It’s not that shocking that he would transfer. All I will say is I know some people and hearing this is essentially a done deal
Lol, what? Just responding to a thread about who’s entering and coming from the portal. I’m pissed that Gibbs is leaving, I’m just saying check back in a few days/week when it becomes official.
Corey Dennis just started following Zach Pyron on twitter as of today and he wouldn’t be on the radar as a take for Ohio state. Dennis is a very interesting option for OC.
Whole defensive staff is gone except for knight and Coleman if I had to guess. Thacker announcement will take some time due to he is on a coordinator contract.
He isn’t playing because he’s 4th string. He’s a true freshman QB who had no senior HS year and is extremely behind other true freshman QB’s around the nation. Also, don’t be shocked if he transfers. It’s possible.
I think Yates not playing much is due to him just simply not being that good. He’s been in the system 3 years and is only getting time because of injuries. Sims is a lot more elusive runner. He looks like a running back when he runs (similar to Lamar jackson).
Since you’re still missing the key points. Defenses have to gameplan for more with sims due to his arm strength and ability with his legs vs Yates does not have that. Sims can drive the ball down field and get points while yates can’t even get close to that. I mean how much more obvious can it...
Tech was his only power 5 offer. Why would those schools come calling now on a limited undersized backup QB who is just now getting playing time in his 3rd year. He will have to drop down 1 or 2 levels.
