If TQ can't go CPJ isn't going to tell anyone until kickoff. then its OMG IS THAT MATT JORDAN's MUSIC! ( that would be hilarious.)
  2. Tough to be a jacket fan

A lot of teams they have played use throws behind the line of scrimmage in space. They get counted as passes.
  3. Paul Johnson time frame.

I think the main problem with the 2013 offense was more a matter of practice time put in. Against people that we were much better than. ( Duke, Elon) It looked great. But we really didn't have a ton. I think it was always supposed to be a package thing. Something to add to the offense that year...
  4. Paul Johnson time frame.

We still ran those formations all of 2013 the only thing he abandoned was the diamond because it stopped working.
  5. Paul Johnson time frame.

The only reason i can thi k he wouldnt is if graham isnt completely physically ready and he doesnt want to risk injury. Nothing worse than getting injured in november and having to miss spring rehabing when he might be the qb of the future

Purdue is a good school and I'm happy any time pizza boy loses
  7. AD sabotage the football program

Mbob knows if he ****s purdue up hes screwed forever as an ad. He wanted to fire johnson but 2014 happened then 2016 happened
  8. Highly Unlikely - but what if CPJ hired an OC?

In thia offense a 1 yard run or loss by the qb is the same as an incompletion
  9. Highly Unlikely - but what if CPJ hired an OC?

Also damn this stanford offense would be so much better if They threw from the gun. That qb had to take 5 steps and turn no way he had a chance to read the defense right. Looks like a bad 1970s uga offense right now. Leave the pro style for the pros. Am i doing this right
  10. Highly Unlikely - but what if CPJ hired an OC?

Nah air raid is still at least throwing every play. To the laymen thats more exciting.

I know. Its another thing we do to hamstring ourselves. Lots of posters on this board want to sell out for wins. Might as well start here
  12. Highly Unlikely - but what if CPJ hired an OC?

Like our offense its great when it works. When it doesnt it looks like an excercise in futility.
  13. Highly Unlikely - but what if CPJ hired an OC?

The realism plan. Chan never went above 6 wins ever using your criteria. There are plenty of reasons to want to move on from johnson we are suppose to be engineers and scientists which means we dont make **** up to match our point. The records are the records.
  14. Highly Unlikely - but what if CPJ hired an OC?

3 in 9. Why leave just onebyear off. 2008 winning 2009 winning 2010 losing after bowl loss 2011 winning 2012 even 2013 winning 2014 winning 2015 dad 2016 winning 2017 losing 2018 eh might be anything. So I dont see 3 of 9 here. You may discount fcs teams but the record books don't and in a world...
  15. Highly Unlikely - but what if CPJ hired an OC?

There is only 1 team in football that doesnt run some kind of option and that is stanford. You donknow what the O in r po stands for right.
  16. Nate Woody

Paul pulls him into his office and says looks son you arent going to play your choices are either to transfer or we can get you on medical hardship. Nick saban style
  17. Highly Unlikely - but what if CPJ hired an OC?

He could still call the plays while hiring an offensive mind to build the offense. Johnsons is not stuck to his one stle of offense calling plays either and often will make up new plays in the passing gamw mid game
  18. ACC Football Thread

Yikes, that friendly fire is a pain in the *** sometimes.
  19. Highly Unlikely - but what if CPJ hired an OC?

You would be right, if he hadn't done this with Bryan Cook in 2013. Cook was brought in specifically to build the scheme we ended up running in 2013. Now that scheme had flaws in it and outside of Vad we didn't have another QB in the pipe that it made sense to run it with. But if he was willing...
