Sorry about Bailey. But he gets his degree this spring and leaves a big winner with that degree.
Great news on Devine. That would put him in the 320 range weight wise. Close to an ideal playing weight.
And the weight gain by Akins gives us another large DT/NT to add to that list of players...
Yeah, I know about the thefts - bad mistake.
But that does not change the fact that UGA recruited him as a DB. Reason on the street was that he was not the pro-style drop back passer they want in their offense. But Richt won a NC at FSU coaching Charlie Ward as the QB.
So reading the comments on this game it appears that the consensus is that execution matters and adjusting the offense to your players on the field matters. The actual x and o offense does not matter.
Did I read you guys correct?
P/S - I still cannot believe UGA recruited Marshall as a DB. He...
Stephens is an intriguing player. As I recall the plan was to have him be a 6'8 guy playing the 3 spot. But CBG needs the body in the 4 & 5 spots. And apparently will need him there next season. He has a ton of skill. Just lacks bulk.
Starts today with a 2 p.m. game against East Tennessee State. ESPN 3.
Tech is hitting just 44.0 percent of their shots from the floor. This must get better heading into conference.
play.
Monday 12/16 Kennesaw State visits McCamish.
"THE FLATS - December 6, 2013
Tech's Georgia Tech baseball's freshman class has been ranked No. 9 nationally by Perfect Game USA, the online outlet announced recently.
This is the second time in the last four seasons that Danny Hall's program inked a top-10 class, as the 2010 incoming class...
(Rumor only.) Word on the street is that Lee played most of the season with nagging injuries that inhibited his ability to run with power.
Do not know if this is true or false. Just what I was told last 1/2 of the season. Some of you guys with contacts may be able to fish out the truth.
A/P -"Petersen will replace Steve Sarkisian, who went 34-29 in five seasons at Washington before leaving earlier this week to take the job at USC. Petersen was 92-12 in his eight seasons at Boise State,..."
Who hired Sark? If I was a Trojan fan I would be upset.
Who is gonna hire Cutcliffe?

THE FLATS - The Georgia Tech women's basketball team (5-2) utilized impressive rebounding and a 27-point performance from senior Tyaunna Marshall to defeat Illinois (5-4), 93-69, during the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
With the win against the Fighting Illini, Georgia Tech is now 6-1 in...
Totally agree.
What was the impact of the Ole Miss and St Johns games on their ability to win last night? NC A&T and Miss Valley did not get Tech ready for Ole Miss or St Johns.
As I have observed previously, no team ever has enough OL. I would love Brown, Marshall, Whitley, Preddy, Stickler and Klock to end up as GT OL.
Eric says: "A lot of names being tossed around at A back...also could take another OL."
I vote for the OL.
Now we do East Tenn State Saturday at 2:00 p[m on espn3 (keep the radio handy). Intensity, intensity, intensity!
ACC looks good tonight. I find it hard to pull for Notre Dame, but ACC is ACC.
MG-H 20 points and Carter 21 points and 9 boards and both with 3 assists.
I love this game!
Tech up at the half. Played well the last 5 minutes on both ends of the court.
Pity Miller. He will probably not be a major factor in the NBA, if he even makes a team. But he will play overseas and put $10 million or so in the bank.
Poor guy! Will have to survive on Spam and Potted Meat. I...
