  1. Spring Practice

Oh yeah collins isn't going to get rid of him. He retained all the GA's too i think.
  2. Spring Practice

There are two kinds of thinking when it comes to slot recievers. Theres the burner running seam over and over again (taylor gabriel) and screens. Then theres the guy running option routes, slants, etc "wes welker" type. (Brad stewart would have lived here) Since we only have a transfer tight...
  3. Spring Practice

Im not sure nates not going to be in the backfield. He runs hard north and south.
  4. Offseason Number Changes

45 is a solid GT linebacker number though,
  5. Spring Practice

Johnson also wanted to take all the fire for his guys. He knew it was a hostile media. He did have Roof giving media talks from 13 to 17.
  6. retiring #90

I could see dabo allowing that too and not trying to take advantage having his QB kneel on it.
  7. retiring #90

I actually would like to see us do the same thing we did with burnett. and have a different starter wear it.
  8. Ye olde coachinge debates

We had a first play td against a vandy team that beat uga that year.

That means dolphus was the one that had the hand injury.
  10. The Five Biggest Commits since NSD

  12. The Five Biggest Commits since NSD

Smaller guys? Adonicas Sanders, 6-5 Darren Waller 6-5 I think our outside recievers averaged about 6-3 under CPJ.
  13. The Five Biggest Commits since NSD

Not if you count pitches as passes. The most common throw in these offense is the bubble to the perimeter or the smoke off of read option from the gun.
  14. Spring Practice

I use to like just working out... because I was working out. But eh new generations and all that. There is an arnold quote about it but its a bit outside the posting guidelines.
  15. Waffle House Wednesday

To Add our RB position is about to get a whole lot "simpler" in a sense. Its very likely that 60 to 70 percent of our runs are going to be inside or outside zone. Which menas the focus is on fundamentals and reading a hole, not assignments except in pass protection.
  16. Your Favorite Underrated GT player?

Embry Peeples. http://www.espn.com/college-football/player/stats/_/id/377761/embry-peeples He never put up unbelievable eye popping stats but he was an excellent blocker and good for 9.6 yp touch over his career ( ~7.5 rushing 28 yp catch) Roddy and Anthony Allen were the primary a-backs...
  17. Ye olde coachinge debates

Player drama is one thing. But it seems like our coaches are always fighting the Hill. and in Johnson's case the AD. (I'm sure Gailey had some AD issues with blaine too).
  18. Ye olde coachinge debates

It's almost like every single coach ever has faced some problems off the field at GT.
  19. Paul Johnson era signature game

The biggest thing I'm going to miss (again i've already done this transition once as a southern fan as well) is the feeling that every play could be a 60 yard + td) When i watch the falcons or any other style of offense you kinda know when they are calling a shot play. It's setup by other...
  20. Ye olde coachinge debates

He was, and he went down to GSU only because Monken got the job and needed a QB. (otherwise he would have probably been there in 2010 when nesbitt got hurt) The reality of it is CPJ was able to sell Nesbitt dwyer and Thomas to stay when the coaching change happened and Collins went to bama...
