This might be a dumb question, but if this team struggles for the first few months of the year, can they drop the appeal and just accept the postseason ban?

This is going to be a long season as they have a very difficult schedule

Banks has been a great surprise. Phillips easily biggest disappointment. Curtis has got to find a way to get confidence away from his home court. He’s basically unplayable on the road.

The more talent though, the better the chance to luck into a dream season. Even when Pastner and Gregory’s teams peaked, they made the NIT.

Just judging by the tweets, it looks like a lot of this has to do with Crawford transferring.

Yep at least we were getting elite NBA prospects under Hewitt. Now we’re at the bottom of the conference in terms of talent.

I will say it's a sad day when a recruit chooses Northwestern over Georgia Tech because of their more recent success. As someone that's followed the NW program for decades, that's something you would never think you'd hear.

Yet landed an incredible recruiting class (unfortunately Garland is out for the year).
