I agree with this. I can't quite put my finger on it either. Part of it may be that we have more athletic upside with the young guys than in years past. The struggles we are having seem more due to the growing pains of talented, inexperienced guys instead of the mistakes of seasoned veterans...
Agree, that makes me nervous. If you want any experience, you basically have to go out and find a transfer. Even then, they likely don't know the offense, and it is harder for Tech to find guys who can get in.
Man, I'm ready for some football tomorrow. The quality of our discussion topics on this board have been steadily trending upward as the season approaches. It will be fun to see our guys in action, and begin getting answers to these questions.
I was thinking a similar thing. This may begin to change as we move into the playoff era. Four teams have a shot at a NC instead of just two. Strength of schedule is considered by the selection committee. We are seeing fewer and fewer seasons with more than 1 undefeated team (if any).

Good point. A win over Clemson would be huge in terms of the Coastal if we are taking care of business elsewhere. We've gotta get a big win this season if we want to be relevant.
Eh, it's a middle heavy division at the moment. It was the powerhouse of the two divisions not that long ago when FSU was still down and Clemson couldn't get their crap together. Hopefully we can claw and pinch our way to the top.
