I saw nothing on the field this season that gives me hope about next year. Maybe the talent upgrades (transfers in and better recruiting class than in the past) will help, but Collins hasn’t shown me anything positive as a game day head coach yet.
Realistically, Tech-Georgia isn’t really a “rivalry game” anymore in the sense that either team could win despite their records coming in. We are more like an FCS cake-walk for Georgia as they await the SEC Championship game each year.
It’s a 5 hour drive home after a game. I would make the trip more often, if we put a quality team on the field and I didn’t have to wonder why I wasted my time, money and attention.
