I don't know about specifics but I'll just say this, the most points we've scored against them in the last 4 years has been 26 (2011). I think we score more points than that tomorrow.

These comments from Foster just throw fuel on my fire of wanting to beat VT. I'll gladly take a 1 point victory on Saturday, but I'd really prefer to donkey kick them right in the teeth, score 40+ points on Bud Foster's defense and blow them out of Lane Stadium.

IMO speed doesn't necessarily equal talent. Everybody has fast players at skill positions these days.

I think we have enough talent on D that we shouldn't look like Larry, Curly and Moe out there. For some reason, we make playing Defense look way harder than it should be.

As DCS's poll showed, most fans still support CPJ but he has got to fix the defensive side of the ball or it's ultimately going to be his demise at GT. Outside of his first year, which he inherited some really good talent on the DL, we've been really bad on defense every year.

The Davis penalty completely changed that game. Doesn't excuse the absolute poor defense but that game would've never come down to what it did without that penalty. I like PJ, but I'm getting tired of his inability to field a competent defense. I thought we called too many passes in the 2nd...

This is the correct answer. The vast majority of recruits, especially blue chippers, believe they're headed to the league and would prefer the quickest and easiest path as possible.
