now we're going down the football/basketball route announcing offers? I thought this was taboo? I personally like it as it might motivate another school to move on the kid vs not knowing they're being offered. Vs other schools assuming you don't have one, unless they ask you.

Interesting. Does that decimates the summer leagues though?....but what's the need if they're playing in/through the summer. The guys don't get much of a break with the CWS last week fo July and school starting back up a few weeks later....
