This. DRad did some good stuff here and him leaving was a great thing too! We didn't have to deal with several more years under a building-focused AD. He made his impact and left, allowing us to get a football-minded Bobinski. Not too shabby.
Might be a good thing right now to be behind Dook in the standings. It gives our guys a goal to fight for. PLEASE somebody beat Dookie this year. No one wants them in the acccg
He is the anti-richt. He doesn't do commercials, he doesn't coach at a factory school, he doesn't get top 10 recruiting classes every year, he knows how to manage the clock quite well and he does more with the talent he has. We have a better coach than the mutts and that feels good
If you're waiting for a coach who can consistently beat the mutts, you'll be waiting a long time. They are a factory school and Tech isn't. At least wait for Roof to get some good defensive guys in there and then re-assess.
PJ won a championship, remember? And last I checked we are still in the running for the coastal division this year.
I disagree that the defense hasn't improved. Under Roof, the defensive players are playing with a more simple, read-and-react approach. They're also opportunistic and create...
1. Tenuta was terrible at making adjustments. They were non-existent.
2. Tenuta had some beasts on D. More to work with.
Personally I like how opportunistic our defense had been. I think we will get better under roof
interesting point. the nice thing about the shape of a football, however, is that you can't really predict what it does when it hits the ground. Probably prevents players from dropping it intentionally.
I think the ball crossed over on the right side of the pylon and bounced out of bounds. Any fumble that rolls out of bounds rather than being recovered by either team is spotted where it rolled out of bounds. In this case it was the endzone. Touchback. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.
The mutts had gurley and murray last year and we had vad. Still took it into double OT. These rivalry games are impossible to predict. Personally, I don't think they can stop our offense. Probably another shootout like 08 :)
