I want to add this ...
Pitt didn't just give away those fumbles. Our guys stripped that sucker out of their hands over and over again. We were hungry and it payed off.
I am going to tell my wife to stop booking me for crap on Saturdays. Pumpkin patches, kid birthday parties and family dinners... and can't even listen to the game in the car without my kids complaining that they want to listen to their music.
The dad life.
And he is currently running the best offense in the nation. Just gotta shore up defensive play. We will be even more dangerous on offense next year with a more experienced JT and hopefully Leggett will be a beast too. We are a few great defensive players away from greatness
You've touched on something I've noticed across the college football landscape. Defensive play isn't what it once was. Offenses are dominating the game nowadays. Any low-scoring games are usually a result of poor offensive play by both teams. It's not the same slugfest it once was. I'm thinking...
yes. yes. yes. PJ friggin' gets it!
How long will Roof disregard this advice? If we aren't strong enough to play bend-dont-break D, then let's play some Tenuta D and get after that QB.
this. Now we see how this young team responds to a loss. A loss to Duke is deflating, but they've still got so much to play for. Hopefully our guys run out onto that field with bad intentions :punch:
this loss sucks, but we are in good company when it comes to 1-loss teams. Still control our own destiny in the division. Need to LEARN from this and move forward. Still plenty of football left to play.
